Lovely dbl room available asap in quiet residential street, in close proximity to excellent transport links into town and the hospital and one minutes walk to Brockwell park.

Myself (julia) and Emma who is 14 months old and good as gold are looking for a cheery person to move in with us, who wouldnt mind living with a gorgeous toddler and having the odd glass of wine with mummy in the evenings. Would rather have someone non-smoking (definately no smoking in the flat!) and clean professional/ nurse or even another single parent with young child would be perfect. I work Mondays-Wednesdays whilst Emma is at nursery.

I have a great room to let in central Beckenham (right opposite Beckenham Junction train station).
It’s a single room in a large, fully furnished, 3 bed, 2 bathroom house.
The house is newly decorated throughout with all wood floors, newly fitted kitchen, large garden and all mod cons (WiFi, Cable TV, Dishwasher etc).
The house is in a prime location for transport links, with the station literally across the street. There are direct trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Bromley, the Tramlink to Croydon and Wimbledon, and numerous bus routes.
You will also be just minutes away from all of the local bars, restaurants and shops (and there are a number of gyms within easy walking distance, too).
I’m 28 years old, professional (I work in the catering industry, and I love my food). I work fairy long hours during the week so I tend to restrict any drunken nights out to the weekends. I like to have fun, but I’m not really a fan of bringing the party back to the house (my worst nightmare would be to come home to a houseful of random people). I’m definitely looking for someone similar in that sense.
I’m also looking for someone clean and tidy, too, so if you’re scared to muck in around the house, this probably isn’t for you (don’t worry, I’m not a clean-freak or anything, but I think it’s best to be honest about these things from the start to avoid any arguments further down the line).
You'll also be sharing with one other (male, 24). I’m looking for someone who’s chilled out, friendly, and isn’t going to hide away in their room all the time. Basically, someone who’s looking for a home, rather than just a room to rent, would be ideal.
The rent is £400 per month, inclusive of all bills (gas, electric, water, home insurance, council tax, Cable TV, TV License, broadband etc). Security Deposit will also be £400.
