Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) now required for a Prestigious Healthcare Facility in Co. Kerry
Part Time Permanent Post
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager (CNM) to work with a Modern and Progressive Private Hospital in an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) capacity.
Our client’s organisation is part of a leading hospital group. They are committed to providing an excellent standard of patient focused care, complementary to the HSE and major Voluntary Hospitals.
The Candidate:
•Registered Nurse with ABA – www.nursingboard.ie
•Hold a Management Qualification
•Have a minimum of 5 years Acute Hospital Experience post registration – the majority of which at Management Level (CNM1, CNM2)
•The ability to Influence and Persuade Staff
•Strong Negotiating and Problem Solving Skills
•Ability to take Initiative and think “outside the box”
•Demonstrate Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
•Good Presentation Skills – Oral and Audiovisual
The Role:
•To be a Clinical Team Lead, advisory and management capacity
•To support the Director of Nursing & deputize in their absence
•To liaise with Bed Managers, Consultants, CNM’s and Theatre Mangers to utilize beds and theatre time in line with hospital policies.
•To carry out personal development plans on all reports
•Maintain accurate, concise records in filing system
•To identify training needs and follow through on these
