Job Responsibilities
You will be required to demonstrate high standards of clinical practice providing holistic care to patients receiving outpatient treatments. You will provide individualised evidenced based patient care working within a multidisciplinary team. You will be clinically competent in ECG recordings, cannulation and phlebotomy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required as well as PC skills.
Essential Criteria
• NMC registration or eligible
• Minimum 1-2 year post registration experience in general, surgical or gynaecology nursing
• Wound management /Tissue viability knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously
• PC skills
• Good time management
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience working in an Out-Patient setting
• Experience in caring for gynaecological, dermatology and plastics patients
• Recognised certificate in women’s health screening
• ENB 998 or equivalent
